Skerries Mills is a unique collection of two windmills and a watermill with associated mill pond, mill races, wetlands and is an ideal place to visit on a day trip while staying at the Bracken Court Hotel in North County Dublin. Visitors begin their guided tour of the site in the four-storey watermill building; they can try their skills at grinding; observe the waterwheel at work and walk through the corn field to visit one of the windmills. Front Strand Beach is situated close to the Main Street in Balbriggan, North County Dublin. The beach has a beautiful coastal walkway known locally as “The Nuns Walk”,
Enjoy a walk around Wavin Lake home of the Gormanston Anglers - it covers approximately 26 acres. The lake is also a wildlife sanctuary and Bird Watch Ireland has a hide located on the south of the lake.
